Jason & I had a wonderful weekend get-away to San Fran last weekend. He was there for work, so I decided to join him on Friday. Thanks to Gram & Grandma & Grandpa for keeping the boys while we went! You are the best!
It was fantastic to get some relief from this heat. The high’s were in the upper 60’s & it was 54 or so at night! Brrrr! I enjoyed wearing jackets & scarves!
We ate some amazing seafood & did some sight seeing!
Saturday was perfect. We rented bikes to ride across the Golden Gate bridge & over to Sausalito to have a beautiful patio lunch overlooking the ocean. Does it get much better than that? I think not. We had an amazing one on one date & he accepted the rose afterwards. (bach. watchers)
An unusual piece of art down at the Ferry Building
This restaurant: The Slanted Door was amazing!
Looking in stores for fun! We loved this chair &
it was so unique & comfy..it was $350! GEEZ!
A fruit stand just like the movies..
Notice the name of the middle beer.. Ha!
Rode the trolley down to Fisherman’s Wharf
We just rented our bikes!
The curviest road in the US- Lombard St.
And we rode our bikes down it! I was
nervous at first!
Very foggy, but you can see the GG bridge.
About to ride across it!
The neatest experience being on it!
And across it was a town called Sausalito.
It was about 10 degrees warmer & sunny!
We decided to take a ferry back to San Fran
from Sausalito instead of riding our bikes back
another 9 miles.
Isn’t this beautiful? Clouds rolling over Sausalito.
Our view from the ferry boat.
