And because scars attract the ladies, Landon has decided he wants two of his own to match his brother. Erin’s expert medical knowledge (yep, she was actually paying attention during our stay in the nicu) led to an inguinal hernia diagnosis. We confirmed it when we met with the pediatrician and then later the surgeon. It is the same surgery as Hudson. We had to switch doctors because of insurance, but we really like the new one. He is in the same practice as our last one. We also have to head down to Medical City on 75/Forest. Not the closest, but they have a good pediatric floor. We will get this all started on May 18. We check in at 6 a.m. and hope to be discharged 36 hours later. We will keep everyone posted.
On a fun news side, the boys got to meet their Great Granddad this past week. 90 years old meeting the 9 week olds. Granddad was so happy, and so were we. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. We even got him to hold the bottle for a feeding.
Granddad and his boys!
Granddad feeding Hudster
Hudson relaxing in Granddad’s arms
Landon seems to be getting along just fine.
This photo made me laugh as it looks like the boys are upset at each other and not talking.
Well, mom and dad love you too
Landon was patiently waiting his turn, but Mrs. Genthner never called on him. He finally went to sleep.
And he is still waiting to be called on
Stretching time!
Fussy Buckets! These are the faces you get when you deprive them of a bottle. (p.s. this is a Karen Kramer inspired photo!)
