The boys are doing really well. We went to the doctor on Wednesday for their two month check up. And they are perfect! Hudson weighed in at 8 lbs, 15.5 ounces. Landon, 8 lbs, 2.5 ounces. For babies that are considered 1 week old for the adjusted growth charts, they are actually a little bit ahead of normal. They each received three of their five shots. And again, they were perfect. There was no crying at the doctors office, but it seemed to start up about 12 hours later. Think they finally realized that their legs were hurting. It didn’t last long though.
We made one of our first outings (ssh, don’t tell the doctor) to Jennifer’s house for their first photo shoot last weekend. Jen was great with the boys. She had some fun hats and baskets. We had lots of peeing and pooping, but overall, it was a success. We were able to get some great shots. We will post these photos in the coming weeks. Here is a “behind the scenes” peek:
And we sort of (ok, we really did) stole the following idea from our friends Jess and Dave. They started taking a picture every month with the same bear so that you could watch their son Jake grow. Well, here is our first installment, the boys on April 24.
Landon has learned to smile. He primarily does it for his mom, but dad lucks out every now and then.
The boys are continuing to love hanging out. We alter between our arms, bouncers, playtime mats and swings.
Hudson loved his tummy time:
And Landon decided to sleep:
Hudson told him to quit sleeping, then he took matters into his own hands!

Erin found time to make her students some good luck signs. We heard the class loved them:
We had lots of visitors, food and diapers dropped off… and it has been wonderful.
Amy and Aly swung by to meet the boys. Amy even left with a big portion of Landon’s bottle on her. He said he was sorry and I think she accepted it.
Joel, one of our friends from LA, dropped by while he was in town. His wife (and month old Luke) got a little jealous and made us call her on Skype.
Then Brad and Kat joined Amy and Eric on another trip.
Beth and her boys (two of which are twins) stopped by to say hi as well.
For those of you with kids, you probably keep a chart of what is happening. As you can imagine, it gets even more complicated when you have two. Here is ours:
I squiggled my way over to see my brother
Jess’s parents sent us some outfits… and yes, the boys are looking forward to their first trip to the R-Up and R-Down Ranch this Summer.
Erin’s dad popped by for dinner and a chance to hold the boys.
Hudson showing off his style:
Grandma got some hanging time with Hudson.
and later some time with both of the boys.
Erin and dad hung out as well.
Hudson getting some kisses:
Daddy enjoy his Hudster:
I’m awake, now what.
We moved bath time into the big boy tub. Here is hud getting his:
And we’ll finish up with Landon wrapped up post both time. He loves to snuggle.
